Welcome to Invest In PUSD Kids
We are here:
  • To give voice to issues of concern to PUSD families and teachers, and to bring those issues to the attention of elected officials on the School Board, the Pasadena City Council, the Sierra Madre City Council, and the Altadena Town Council.
  • To engage our elected officials and school administration in conversation with the community, and to hold Board and Council members accountable for taking concrete action on issues we've raised.
  • To give people a chance to share information about what is happening at their schools – common concerns as well as success stories – with people at other schools and the wider community.

IIPK IN ACTION
Ten leaders from Invest in PUSD Kids in association with LA Voice - PICO joined together at our state capitol with 800 other Californians from across the state to lift up our concerns regarding our state budget. We met with our state lawmakers, Assemblymember Anthony Portantino and Assemblymember Anthony Adams, to discuss the continuing cuts to the education budget and juvenile justice issues. Our message was clear: California's children must be a priority when making important budget and policy decisions that will affect their future.
